I’m too hot to function!

Why is it so hot here in the Philippines right now? What have the Filipinos done to suffer this kind of extreme hot temperature? (Just exaggerating!).

I’m just too lazy to function today because I feel that all my small movements contribute to the heat I am feeling today. I am using an electric fan beside me but it seems that the air coming from the fan is hot too. Haist! I need something which can comfort me and put me at ease. I am lucky that we have some trees in the backyard and so fresher air eases a little bit of the hotness coming inside the house. Also, our house is super close and it doesn’t let the fresh air to pass thoroughly inside it making the humid warm air to just circulate around the house..

I am begging my mom to buy and install air conditioning units at home but she insisted that that would cost a lot in terms of our monthly electric consumption. Oh well papel! I just have to endure the heat or I could just go to the bathroom and stay there for a while.

On the other hand, every day is an instant sauna for me and my fats are really set on fire now!!

Grabe! Gusto ko nang pigilan yung sarili ko pero I can’t hep it :( Nagiging extreme perfectionist na yata ako!

Few More Steps To Go

My scholastic struggles will end next year. I am glad because all these hardships, requirements and some irrelevant school works will cease while at the same time I am afraid because I have to take the CPA Board Exams first before I could say that it is already over. I should take that Board Examinations once. I just wanna make my parents, siblings, professors and friends to be proud of me.

Honestly, I don’t feel pressured before but as the day is actually approaching I am building this kind of fear. I don’t wanna show to some people that I failed. I spent enough perspiration and tears to this endeavour so why should I quit? I don’t have any reasons to fail. My parents are giving me my needs more than those which are required. Also, I am pressured because of what my professor said “kailangan isang barkada kayo, kailangan sabay sabay kayong mag ooath taking sa PICC!”, my friends are the smartest in the class and rest assured that they could pass the examination once and so should I. I need to strive and work hard. As they say, it is never too late to change for the better.

I have read several inspirational blogs, watched a lot of inspirational movies and listened to inspirational songs and sometimes my soul is touched by those kind of media. But I admit that sometimes, if not always, I really lose track and my aspirations in life are sometimes forgotten. Most of the times, I am thinking that I need someone who could remind me of my dreams and goals in life but at the end of the day I realize that no one could do that better except me, myself and I. I should instil in my mind and also in my heart my purpose. My professor’s rags to riches life story really inspired me (he worked as a janitor in order to sustain his schooling allowance in high school and to his salutatory speech and up to now at present). He keeps on telling us how his life has changed because he holds fast to his dreams.

I should work now and plan my strategies ahead. This would be a tough battle. I know that faith, courage and determination could bring me to the place where I want to be in the future.

I should have been one of the graduating students now but I chose this path so I have to wait a year later. (5-year course)

It’s A Long Way to the Top

I have just designed a print for our organizational shirt because a friend asked me to do one. This doesn’t seem like an organizational shirt but more of a statement shirt instead.

Because of too much color and complexity of the design, I think this would take a hard time to pass in the approving committee.
